All Of Stonebwoy’s Awards In 2019

Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy has established himself as one of the formidable artists in Ghana and Africa as a whole.

He has won several individual awards since he came onto the music scene in 2012 when he recorded his first hit single “Climax” featuring Samini and subsequently “Ghetto Love” featuring Irene Logan.

Both songs earned him nominations at the Ghana Music Awards. After this exposure, he released his debut album “Grade 1 Album”. The album contains seventeen tracks that featured prominent Ghanaian artists including Tinny and Edem aside from those mentioned above. The release of the debut album made the Stonebwoy brand a household name in the music industry.

2019 VGMAs

We all know what transpired at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, it ended in chaos when fans of dancehall artiste Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale engaged in near fisticuffs over an award.

Stonebwoy won three awards including the Dancehall/Reggae Artist of the year before the chaos.

2019 AFRIMA Awards

Stonebwoy won the Best African Dancehall artist for the third time in history at the 2019 edition of All Africa Music Awards. He won it for the first time in 2015, 2018 and 2019.

2019 Ghana Music And Arts Awards

Stonebwoy won 3 awards at the 2019 Ghana Music & Arts Awards Europe.

The Bhim Nation boss won the Collaboration of the Year with his Kpo K3k3 song, Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year as well as Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of The Year.
