Burna Boy Hits No. 1 On U.S. Billboard Charts For The First Time

Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, Burna Boy has achieved career history by topping the U.S. Billboard list for the first time ever in his music career on July 16, 2022.
- His popular single Last Last reached its highest point on the American Afrobeats Billboard charts.
- The song advanced from No. 3 to No. 1 on Tuesday, beating Tems, Wizkid, and Fireboy DML respectively.

The sixth studio album by Burna Boy, Love, Damini, which was released on his birthday, on July 2nd, also included the track Last Last.

The feat of the African Giant was first covered by Billboard and they highlighted that the track is currently the fifth most-seller on the Afrobeats brand new list.
Burna Boy, born Damini EbunoluwaOgulu on the 2nd of July 1991 is a Nigerian musician, singer, and producer of records. After the release of “Like to Party,” the lead track off his debut album L.I.F.E., in 2012 his fame grew (2013).
