Naira Marley is being investigated by the police for his alleged involvement in the death of fellow artiste, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, who died on September 12, 2023.

Iyabo Ojo has been very vocal regarding the investigation of the sudden death of Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley’s record label. Mr. Olalekan Ojo, the lawyer representing Naira Marley, has insisted that there is no evidence linking his client and music promoter, Samson Balogun also known as Sam Larry, to the death of Mohbad.
