List Of All Football Stars Who Have Tested Positive For Coronavirus

Arsenal football club last night confirmed that their head coach, Mikel Arteta has been tested positive for the coronavirus and just a few hours later, Chelsea also revealed their winger, Callum Hudson-Odoi has also contracted the virus.

Juventus also confirmed in a released statement that 25-year-old defender, Daniele Rugani has been tested positive for the deadly coronavirus, the Serie A club confirmed yesterday.

It has also been confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo shared a dressing room with Rugani on Sunday when his team beat Inter Milan 2-0 behind closed doors and the former Real Madrid striker is staying put and not returning to Italy for the time being.

According to El Nacional, Juventus player, Paulo Dybala is also now in quarantine after he reportedly tested positive for the virus, with 121 members of club staff in voluntary isolation.

Spanish football’s top leagues have also been suspended, and Real Madrid’s players have gone into quarantine, because of the coronavirus. This is after a Real Madrid basketball player, who shares the training facilities with the football squad, was tested and found to have caught the virus.

The coronavirus outbreak, now declared a pandemic, has led to problems with sporting fixtures all around the world. Arsenal’s Premier League match against Manchester City was postponed after some Arsenal players went into isolation.

In Italy and Spain, all sports activities have been suspended, including the Serie A football league, until 3 April, with the country in lockdown. The English FA is also expected to hold an emergency meeting today to determine the future of the current season.
