In this article, I’ll list the popular Nigerian celebrities that have ventured into politics. They went from the big screens to politics. Nigerian actor, Desmond Elliot is not the first to venture into politics nor will he be the last from Nollywood to venture into the game of politics.

The Nigerian actor and producer has since suggested that he might run as Nigeria’s President in 2023. Named in honour of the famous Russian actor Yul Brynner. Yul is the sixth child born to the legendary actor Pete Edochie.
