President Akufo Addo Speaks On A Possible LockDown Of Ghana – Video
The calls and debate for a possible lockdown of Ghana due to the outbreak of coronavirus has been ongoing in the past few days after the number of coronavirus cases increased.
Ghana now has recorded 132 cases, 3 deaths and 1 recovery as at the time of publishing this post. Many Ghanaians on social media have called on the President to lock down the country to prevent the virus from further spreading.
Last night, we published about a possible 2 weeks lockdown of Accra and Kumasi where most of the covid19 cases have been found to be positive and according to our sources, the debate of a lockdown is ongoing at the Flagstaff House.
President Akufo Addo has reacted to the calls for a lockdown of the country and according to him, the ordinary Ghanaians will be the ones to suffer should the country decide to go on lockdown.

He also added however that the government will take a decision on the lockdown in the next couple of days as the number of coronavirus cases keeps increasing by the hour.
