Hiplife godfather, Reggie Rockstone has promised customers of his famous Waakye meal that he and his wife will now be bringing the food right to their doorsteps wherever they live in Accra.

Reggie took to his Twitter platform to make the announcement while whetting the appetite of his fans by showing photos of the delicious food with some garnishings.

He wrote: ALL HOLD TIGHT! AS PROMISED WE SHALL SOON BE DELIVERING OUR LEGENDARY WAAKYE TO YOU WHERE EVER U ARE! WE ARE PUTTING THINGS IN PLACE SO BE PATIENT! WE DONT WANT U TO BE A “PATIENT.”

Reggie’s Waakye business has become more conspicuous after Shatta Wale recently went on a ranting spree saying Reggie Rockstone’s biggest achievement in his career is selling Waakye.

Waakye is a Ghanaian dish of cooked rice and beans. It is cooked using many of the methods without additional spices and herbs. The rice is cooked with an indigenous leaf and black-eyed peas or kidney beans. It is commonly prepared in the home but it is also sold by roadside vendors.
