Those who think Shatta Wale’s father is aligned to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) so obviously he’s also affiliated to the party better rewrite the script because it seems the controversial artiste has charted his own path.

Shatta Wale has made a new post asking Nana Akufo Addo’s main challenger in the upcoming 2020 election, John Dramani to step aside so the President can continue ruling the country owing to the way he has expertly handled the coronavirus situation in the country.

The Ghana Water Company Ltd and the Electricity Company of Ghana have been directed to ensure the stable supply of water and electricity during this period. In addition, there will be no disconnection of supply. Furthermore, the government will absorb the water bills for all Ghanaians for the next three months, ie, April, May, and June. All water tankers, publicly and privately-owned, are also going to be mobilized to ensure the supply of water to all vulnerable communities.

President Akufo Addo

Several Ghanaians have hailed President Akufo Addo for being a good leader and say it’s likely he’ll win the next general election. To this end, Shatta Wale also joined the chorus, saying all parties including John Mahama should step down for Nana Addo.

It’s so marvelous that he can really go down like care about his people…thinking about giving them free this, free that. A period like this that he can come out and be supporting us like this- I don’t see any African President doing this apart from him. So I believe we need to clap for him every morning when we wake up. The way people go to church and clap, they need to be clapping for the President like that because he has done so marvelously well.

I believe we should call all other political parties and they must come into an agreement to give him (Akufo-Addo) another four years.
