The award-winning Nigerian singer has got himself a new fan after Daystar Shemuel Schua Peterson more popularly well-known as Tory Lanez, a Canadian rapper has named him among the most influential artists in the world.
Following his raucous show at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on Saturday night, the Canadian rapper could not hide his admiration for the Nigerian singer.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, also shared by the Nigerian superstar, Tony said: “Davido is one of the greatest artistes in the world, I don’t care what anybody says, top mother….records every time…”

Meanwhile, Nigeria police have arrested some officers who were attached to Grammy Award winner Burna Boy who were involved in a shooting incident at a Lagos nightclub.
The police officers fired in the vicinity of Club Cubana in Victoria Island, Lagos on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, and are under investigation for their role in the incident, police stated.
The shooting incident is said to have resulted in two victims being hospitalized. According to reports, two of the victims identified were Irebami Lawrence and Tolu.
