A victim from Warren Jeff is Merrianne Jessop. Jeffs was appointed the position of the Prophet in the church of fundamentalism in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints following the death of his father.

Warren was arranging to move many people from the FLDS members to an area of ranching in Texas in 2003. However, he was arrested a few years later and later sent to prison to be tried for rape for being an accomplice (the conviction was later overturned).
