Coronavirus Kills 21-Year-Old Spanish Football Coach
Coronavirus continues to cause distraction as it has been confirmed that a 21-year old Spanish football coach has died after he contracted the deadly virus.
According to reports, Francisco Garcia who served as Malaga-based club Atletico Portada Alta’s youth team manager since 2016, has become the fifth and youngest victim of the illness in the region.
Garcia died on Sunday after testing positive for the coronavirus last week, having been sent to the Regional Hospital of Malaga for treatment. However, upon arrival at the hospital, he was found to be suffering from a form of leukemia.
The condition made him more vulnerable to the virus and he died days after.
Atletico Portada Alta released an official statement via social media following Garcia’s death, which reads: “We want to express our deepest condolences to the family, friends and close friends of our coach Francisco García who has left us, unfortunately, today.”
Meanwhile, news reaching us reveals that Idris Elba has been tested positive for the deadly coronavirus. According to the actor himself, he has tested positive for the virus despite not having the symptoms of the coronavirus which is spreading like wildfire.
