Manchester United have moved to within three points of fourth-placed Chelsea in the Premier League with a victory tonight at Stamford Bridge.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s men went into the game positioned ninth in the standings but have now moved within three points of Chelsea after securing a 2-0 victory.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka delivered a wonderful cross late in the first half which Anthony Martial calmly headed to give United the lead before the break.

Chelsea scored an equalizer through substitute Kurt Zouma but VAR intervened and ruled out the goal after Zouma’s volley from a corner is ruled out for a clear push on Brandon Williams from Cesar Azpilicueta in the build-up.

Bruno Fernandes hit the post with a sumptuous free-kick a few moments later but the ball was in the back of the net few seconds later and it’s Fernandes who was the provider, as his corner is powered home by Harry Maguire.

Olivier Giroud headed home just about 13 minutes to end the game but it was ruled out for offside. That’s twice tonight that Chelsea have scored and VAR has saved United’s blushes.

Ole’s masterpiece has now seen Manchester United made it three wins out of three against Chelsea this season, with a total aggregate goal of 8-1 in favor of Manchester United.
