WATCH: Burna Boy And Jamaican Dancehall Artiste Koffee Working On A Collabo
Jamaican dancehall artiste Koffee has been spotted in the studio with Grammy Awards nominee, Burna Boy and you don’t need to be told that they’re working on a banger.
Koffee, 19, won her first Grammy Award this year after she was announced the winner of the Reggae Album of the year category at the 2020 Grammy Awards.
Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu posted a short video on his Instagram account which started with him performing at a club and was followed by a studio session with Koffee.
The 19-year-old ‘Toast’ hitmaker can be heard laying down her unique style on what seems to be a beat that is a combination of Dancehall and Afrobeats.

They have openly expressed admiration for each other’s work. Koffee covered Ye last year on BBC Radio 1Xtra and Burna Boy showered the young artiste with praise for her performance of the same song in London.
One of his most popular songs ‘Ye’ which was released in 2018 has over 62 million views on YouTube since it was premiered. Koffee’s hit song, ‘Toast’ has also generated over 100 million views so far.
